NAITSA Shinerama 2011 Upcoming Events

• 30 – Big Valley Jamboree Buck-a-Suck – Volunteers are needed to give away lollipops in exchange for donations. Email us at naitsavolunteers@nait.ca for more information! (Transportation and food will be provided)

• 6 – Shinerama Fun Run/Walk – Sign up at http://www.events.runningroom.com/site/?raceId=6829
• 12 & 13 – Barn Burner/Darwell Ag Drag Buck-a-Suck – Volunteers are needed (both or one of the days) to give away lollipops in exchange for donations. Email us at naitsavolunteers@nait.ca for more information! (Transportation, camping and food will be provided.)
• 26 – Mayor Mandel Shoe Shine at City Hall 11 AM
• 27 – Shinerama BBQ/booth at Gear Up – Volunteers are needed to work the BBQ and provide information about Shinerama at the booth. Email us at naitsavolunteers@nait.ca for more information. If you’re attending Gear Up, stop by for a free hamburger, chips and pop! And don’t forget to stop by to learn more about Shinerama and how to get involved. We’ll be located outside the south lobby at NAIT’s main campus.
• 30 – Shine Day at Sutton Place Hotel 10 AM - 2 PM – Volunteers are needed to shine shoes and give away balloons, stickers and tattoos in exchange for donations. Email us at naitsavolunteers@nait.ca for more information. If you work or are visiting downtown come stop by our booth on the pedway thatconnects the Bell Tower to City Centre Mall and get your shoes shined for adonation towards a great cause.

• 7 – Premier Ed Stelmach Shoe Shine at Legislature Building 1:30 PM
• 10 – Shinerama Day – Join NAITSA on our annual shine-fest in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada! Volunteers are always needed to help shine shoes and cars, and hand out balloons in exchange for donations. Email us at naitsavolunteers@nait.ca for more information! If you can?t volunteer stop by one of our many locations located around Edmonton and get your shoes shined or car washed for a great cause! We’ve got lollipops, balloons, stickers and tattoos to give away to!
• 24 – Shine Day at the Old Strathcona Farmer’s Market – Volunteers are needed to shine shoes and give away balloons, stickers and tattoos in exchange for donations. Email us at naitsavolunteers@nait.ca for more information. If you’re down Whyte Avenue on this Saturday stop by to get your shoes shined and donate to a great cause. We’ll have lots of lollipops, balloons, stickers and tattoos for the kids that stop by (adults too).
